Traineeship in the professional environment: Ministerial Order no. 2025-28 of 16 January 2025 implementing Law no. 1.569 of 12 December 2024
Ministerial Order no. 2025-28 of 16 January 2025 (JDM no. 8731 of 24 January 2025) implements Law no. 1.569 of 12 December 2024 on traineeship in the professional environment. It sets out:
- the minimum information required in the traineeship agreement;
- its transmission to the Employment Service;
- the documents to be provided when a request is made to extend the trainee's age limit;
- the information to be provided for any request to extend the traineeship;
- the minimum amount of the traineeship bonus;
- the procedures for notifying the host organisation of the authorisation for the work placement by the Labour Office.

The minimum information required in the three-party traineeship agreement (trainee, host organisation, educational establishment), on pain of nullity:
- the name of the host organisation and the surnames and forenames of the person authorised to act on its behalf, its registration number if applicable, its address and the nature of the organisation's activity;
- the trainee's surname and forenames, and those of his/her legal representative if he/she is a minor, his/her date of birth, nationality and address;
- the name of the educational establishment, its address, where applicable its approval number or equivalent, and the surnames and first names of the person authorised to act on its behalf;
- the full title of the trainee's course of study or training;
- the detailed programme of the course and its educational objectives;
- the surnames and forenames of the trainee's advisor at the educational establishment;
- the surnames and first names of the trainee's tutor in the host organisation and his/her qualifications;
- the start and end dates of the placement;
- the actual duration and location of the placement;
- the trainee's working hours;
- the amount of the bonus;
- the procedures for interrupting and terminating the placement early;
- the signature of the trainee or his/her legal representative if he/she is an unemancipated minor;
- the signature of the person authorised to act on behalf of the host organisation and the latter's stamp;
- the signature of the person authorised to act on behalf of the educational establishment and the latter's stamp.
During the course of the traineeship, any change concerning points 8) to 12) must be notified to the Employment Service without delay.
The traineeship bonus
The traineeship bonus may not be less than 27% of the minimum inter-professional growth wage (S.M.I.C.) as published by Circular in the Journal de Monaco.
It is exempt from social security contributions up to the amount set by the internal regulations of the Caisse de Compensation des Services Sociaux (CCSS).
