◾Changes resulting from Law no. 1.559 (Part IV) and the implementing regulations
The Moneyval provisions recently passed concerning commercial companies and economic interest groupings (GIE), non-trading companies, associations and federations of associations, and foundations have been amended by Law no. 1.559 of 29 February 2024 (Part IV) (JDM no. 8684 of 1 March 2024) and four implementing regulatory texts (JDM no. 8686 of 15 March 2024 and no. 8687 of 22 March 2024):

◾Industrial property: increase in applicable fees (administrative formalities)
Sovereign Orders no. 10.443 and no. 10.444 of 6 March 2024 (JDM no. 8686 of 15 March 2024) have increased (from €5 to €20) the amounts of the fees applicable on completion of administrative formalities in industrial property matters, set by Sovereign Order no. 6.722 of 26 December 2017 as amended.

◾Maternity leave for self-employed women: implementing regulations
Ministerial Order no. 2024-148 of 15 March 2024 (JDM no. 8687 of 22 March 2024) implements Law no. 1.558 of 29 February 2024 introducing maternity leave for self-employed women affiliated to CAMTI (JDM no. 8684 of 1 March 2024).

◾Convention for the withdrawal of Monaco employers and employees from the Agirc-Arrco supplementary pension scheme
Ministerial Order no. 2024-149 of 15 March 2024 (JDM no. 8688 of 29 March 2024) approves the agreement between the Fédération Agirc Arrco and the Caisse Monégasque de Retraite Complémentaire (CMRC) relating to Monaco's withdrawal from the Agirc-Arrco scheme.

◾New environmental standard applicable to delivery vehicles and taxis
Ministerial Order no. 2024-116 of 22 February 2024 (JDM no. 8684 of 1 March 2024) amends Article 1 of Ministerial Order no. 2008-481 of 1 September 2008 setting the environmental standard for taxis, and the new Ministerial Order no. 2024-117 of 22 February 2024 sets the environmental standard for delivery vehicles.

◾Qualification of remote identity verification service providers (PVID)
Ministerial Order no. 2024-164 of 22 March 2024 (JDM no. 8688 of 29 March 2024) sets out the conditions for the issue of the qualification of remote identity verification service providers (("prestataires de vérification d’identité à distance", PVID) by the Director of the Monegasque Digital Security Agency (AMSN), including compliance with the requirements of the French ANSSI standard.

◾Appointment of the Government Councillor-Minister for Finance and the Economy
By Sovereign Order no. 10.439 of 1 March 2024 (JDM no. 8686 of 15 March 2024), Mr Pierre André CHIAPPORI was appointed "Conseiller de Gouvernement-Ministre des Finances et de l’Économie", with effect from 18 March 2024. He succeeds Mr Marco PICCININI (who held the post from 15 September 2023), who was appointed Ambassador in charge of international financial negotiations by Sovereign Order no. 10.438 of 1 March 2024 (JDM no. 8686 of 15 March 2024).

◾Appointment of members of the Superior Court of Arbitration for Collective Labour Disputes
Sovereign Order no 10.436 of 1 March 2024 (JDM no 8685 of 8 March 2024) appoints for 2 years as from 1 March 2024, 8 full members and 21 alternate members of the "Cour Supérieure d'Arbitrage des Conflits Collectifs du Travail".
